My friends,
There comes a moment in every generation when history stops whispering and starts demanding an answer. Not tomorrow. Not someday. Today.
Look around. People work harder than ever, yet too many families wonder whether next month's rent will be paid. Parents lie awake calculating bills instead of dreaming about their children's future. Young people inherit a world of endless possibilities on a screen but shrinking opportunities in real life. We have been told that this is simply the way things are—that ordinary people should lower their expectations while power protects itself.
I reject that story.
Because every system, no matter how permanent it appears, was built by human hands. And what people build, people can rebuild.
Some will tell you to accept appearances. They'll say the broken roads, the struggling schools, the empty storefronts, the endless political excuses are normal. They'll ask you to settle for less while promising more every election season.
But there is a difference between seeing the world as it is and accepting that it must remain that way.
The greatest turning points in history began when ordinary people refused to confuse comfort with truth. They chose courage over complacency. They understood that silence protects problems, while action creates possibility.
Today, we stand at that same crossroads.
This campaign is not built on anger alone. Anger can wake us up, but hope is what carries us forward. We are here because we believe our communities deserve honest government, safe neighborhoods, thriving businesses, excellent schools, clean streets, and leaders who remember that public office is public service—not personal privilege.
This election is bigger than one candidate. It is about deciding whether government belongs to insiders or to the people who make this state work every single day—the teachers, nurses, truck drivers, electricians, farmers, first responders, entrepreneurs, students, retirees, and parents who ask for nothing more than a fair chance.
I am running for governor because I believe the future is not something we wait for. It is something we choose.
And tonight, I ask you to choose courage over fear. Truth over convenience. Unity over division. Progress over excuses.
The moment has arrived. The people are ready. The breaking point has become the starting point.
Now, together, we begin.
As I talk with neighbors across our community, the same key concerns come up again and again. Here in Rhode Island, we are facing real pressures that affect our everyday lives, and I am ready to fight for the practical solutions we need. My focus is squarely on three critical issues: addressing our high taxes, supporting our education system, and tackling our high energy rates. These are the areas that matter most to our families and our future. If you elect me, I will work tirelessly to bring relief to our households, strengthen our schools, and find ways to lower those high energy bills. We deserve a community where we can afford to live, work, and raise our families, and I am committed to making that a reality for all of us.
Have questions or suggestions? I would love to hear from you!
